  • Abstract
    The article focuses on the introduction of SI-NS diagram technique, which can be applied in the whole process of software programming, developing, analyzing, testing, filing and maintaining. It is commonly acknowledged that software maintenance occupies 80% of the cost for a software development life cycle, and 80% of the program to be maintained is comparatively complex. Using the readable SI-NS diagram to normalize program code rather than the complex code itself, is not only helpful to the developers on improving development environments, increasing software development success ratio, code quality and efficiency, but also has an immediate effect on reducing the cost.
