  • Abstract
    The common defects of work pieces include cracks, inclusions, pores and shrinkages. This paper presents a crack´s skeleton detection method based on multiscale geometric analysis in space domain using beamlets and curve segments. By combining the tree structure of multiscale and top to bottom inter-scale inhibition strategy, the skeleton of crack is detected. Numerical experimental results demonstrate the method is effective.
