Abstract :
Currently, It is hard to analyze and detect the dynamic harmonic quickly and exactly using the Traditional analysis methods for the Power system harmonic, the Wavelet Transformation has the advantage to analyze the fluctuating and fast changing harmonic. This paper has proposed a new harmonic current detection method based on the Wavelet Transformation so that it can analyze any harmonic well. This paper compares the harmonic current detection method based on the instantaneous reactive power theory with the Wavelet Transformation in the simulation and experiment, the test results show that the Wavelet Transformation has double resolutions in the both time & frequency domains, it has the fast dynamic response speed and the good accuracy, which can solve the harmonic problem analysis well. In this paper, it takes the PCI -1712L high speed data acquisition card and designs a set of harmonic current detection device based on VB and Excel or based on LabVIEW software. The model machine shows that the harmonic current detection method based on the Wavelet Transformation has the best effect
