  • Abstract
    Simulation and experimental results for the downstream transmission of coherent Dense/Ultra-Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing Passive Optical Networks are presented and discussed. For a 50 km reach, 40 Gbit/s/user has been physically demonstrated.
