Abstract :
This paper shortly reports SELEX ES experience and preliminary results, with particular emphasis on i) the use static analysis as a direct intrinsic quality maker, ii) the definition of ad hoc KPIs and quality targets and iii)the way static analysis results have been exploiting to gain side indications and metrics for pre release software defects prevention and prediction.
