Abstract :
Due to the limitation of sensor node calculation ability, communication ability and energy, the routing protocol design´s primary goal is to improve the energy efficiency and prolong the survival time of the network. This paper, based on the analysis of wireless sensor network routing protocol, focuses on the analysis of typical routing protocols, such as SPIN, Directed Diffusion, GEAR and LEACH etc. In the study of their working principles, we summarized these routing protocol energy-efficient characteristics and the advantages and disadvantages, and made some suggestions on the improvement direction and applications.
