Abstract
With the development of software industry, benchmarking methodology is becoming a feasible approach applied to evaluate domain-specific software product quality. In this paper, we propose domain-specific software benchmarking methodology based on the state of the art of benchmarking methodology application and domain-specific software evaluation requirement. Two factors, evaluation model and benchmarking method are introduced respectively. FAHP, which integrates fuzzy set theory and AHP is presented to evaluate domain-specific software product quality. FAHP can not only tolerate vagueness and uncertainty of experts´ judgment, but also reduce the subjectivity of expert experience. As a case study, OA software is benchmarked by the proposed method.
