Abstract
ISO26262 mandates safety analysis to be performed at software architectural level, albeit without specifying concrete methods to fulfil it. This preliminary work identifies a method for which industrial and academic guidelines are readily available and demonstrates how the method fulfils ISO26262´s requirements for a systematic safety analysis on software components.
