Abstract :
This paper proposes a four element linear array of dual polarized wideband stacked patches fed through a novel slot coupling technique (Caso et al., 2009), where the patch is coupled to the feeding line through a square ring slot. The array operates in the GSM 1800-1900 band (1710-1910 MHz), UMTS band (1920-2170 MHz), in the ISM band (2400-2484 MHz) and in the UMTS 3G expansion band (2500-2690 MHz) or, alternatively, the WiMax™ band (2300-2700 MHz). The antenna has been designed and optimized by using Ansoft Designer™ that implements a full wave MoM technique. In the following, the antenna is described and numerical results are shown before the final conclusions.
