Abstract :
This paper presents a deep analysis of an outdoor-to-indoor propagation channel and the related capacities. It is based on a measurement campaign carried out at 3.5 GHz to characterize the outdoor to indoor electromagnetic (EM) wave propagation penetration within buildings. Some relationships between the Weichselberger channel matrix shape and the channel capacity at each measured point are studied. The aim of this investigation is to provide to system level algorithms some exploitable performances from the propagation channel.
