Abstract :
This paper explores the possibility how to implement a frequency estimator based on a new principle. It takes advantage of the Fourier transform behavior between the spectral lines of corresponding discrete frequency spectrum. The proposed method is extended to identify the fundamental frequency. The method is then tested on simulated signals and compared with other methods.
