Abstract :
The probabilistic nature of the voltage sags makes the establishment of tendencies based on a stochastic estimate the best way to analyse the disturbance. This article describes the methodology for stochastic estimate the quantity and the characteristics of voltage sags that may affect a range of consumers. It also describes a dedicated software specifically built for that purpose. A case example is also discussed.
