Abstract :
This work is an extension of [19] where the modified Hausdorff distance (MHD) between intuitionistic fuzzy sets was proposed. We introduce now a new measure of object similarity - the modified weighted Hausdorff distance (MWHD) and apply it for intuitionitic fuzzy sets (IFS). A generalization of this method is also proposed where one takes distance between two collections of denumerable subsets satisfying some conditions. The methods employ elements of the distance measures between the intuitionistic fuzzy sets.
