Abstract :
We demonstrate for the first time 40 Gbit/s operation of a quantum well based monolithically integrated widely tunable all-optical wavelength converter. We show open eyes at 40 Gbit/s RZ with an output switching window of 6 ps and low pattern dependence across a 25 nm output tuning.
