Abstract :
A method to dramatically reduce the cost of W band phased antenna array system is proposed by using wafer based package concept and sub-harmonic mixing. Such phased array systems are well suited as front-ends of W-band radar and wireless communication systems and shall find many applications in defense, security and commercial sectors.
