Abstract :
In this paper we have studied a partially reflecting surface (PRS) for linearly polarized antennas. Furthermore, a PRS for dual-polarized and dual-frequency antennas which provide a measured gain improvements up to 6dB in both frequency bands and polarizations has been achieved. Finally, we have modified this last PRS in order to obtain a superstrate suitable for circularly polarized patch antennas. This superstrate provided a directivity enhancement of 7dB (in simulation), keeping an AR<;3dB beamwidth of 65°.
