Abstract :
This paper analyzes the characteristics and difficulties of electric vehicles charging load forecast, and a method of electric vehicle (EV) charging load forecasting based on the number of vehicles is proposed. This method is applicable to the early planning of EV charging infrastructure, which calculates concentration load and dispersion load according to EV charging modes. Finally, a case is given, which shows that the EV charging load forecasting based on the number of vehicles is simple, practical and highly adaptable.
