Abstract
This paper describes a 5th order current mode OTA-C low pass filter intended for communication applications. The filter features a wide programming range of the corner frequency, while it supports multiple approximations through a virtual capacitance scaling network. The leap-frog filter structure results from an LC ladder prototype through a signal flow graph approach. The circuit has been designed at transistor level based on a 90nm digital CMOS technology.
