Abstract :
The genetic based synthesis approach of some dual-frequency transmission line impedance matching sections is presented. Continuous parameter genetic algorithm is used for the synthesis. Examples for a uniform transmission line (UTL) impedance matching section, a uniform composite right/left-handed transmission line (UCRLHTL) impedance matching section, an exponentially tapered nonuniform transmission line (ETNUTL) impedance matching section and a nonreciprocal and nonsymmetric uniform transmission line (NNUTL) impedance matching section are given.
