Abstract :
This paper deals with synthesis of discrete-time chaotic systems. Described method is based on a special system structure called dissipation normal form and allows designing a discrete-time chaotic system of high order. An example of 3rd order chaotic system is used for possible application in the field of secure communication. A chaotic sequence generated by the system is used as a cryptographic key for encryption of two images. Following experiments are concerned on recovering the images after encryption and huge loss of data.
