Abstract :
A high gain, aperture coupled rectifying antenna for 5.8 GHz operation is presented which has a measured gain of 9.3 dBi and an RF-to-DC conversion efficiency of 73%. Split ring resonators (SRRs) are utilized to suppress diode harmonics.
