Abstract :
A new approach has been developed in this paper which proposes a susceptance model of the heaviest load bus. With this model the smallest module eigenvalue, as well as the singular point of the Jacobian matrix are shifted off the critical point, and one can evaluate the load flow by the conventional Newton method. The confirmation and tests show that the model is available, and it has an advantage in terms of simplicity, flexibility, good convergency and high computing speed
