Abstract :
This paper deals with optimum selection of the parameters of hydrogovernor and integral type supplementary controllers for automatic generation control (AGC) of a hydrothermal system. Studies reveal that the optimum hydrogovernor parameters obtained in the uncontrolled mode operation also provide optimum performance in the controlled mode operation
