Abstract :
Recently, Power Conditioning System (PCS) tends to require more compact, higher efficiency, higher power density with better performance. To meet these requirements, a novel topology consisted of LLC resonant converter with two resonant tanks for low power losses and Low Frequency (LF) cyclo-converter for sine wave filtering is proposed. The operating schemes are analyzed and described. A 400 W proto product is built, tested and verified the performances by connecting the 110 Vac 60 Hz utility line. Test results are described with its high efficiency and good performance.
