Abstract
This paper describes the implementation of an Internet audio service using MPEG-2 AAC and streaming technology. This system consists of MPEG-2 AAC hardware encoder, the streaming server, the message server, and the client. For the test of the system performance, we are temporally servicing the system in our Institute´s intranet environment, which has about 2000 users.
