Abstract
In this paper, firstly, ITER power supply and its AC/DC converter in 2001 design have been introduced. Some import criteria such as FSC and internal bypass are reviewed and researched. The system overvoltage and low frequency oscillation have also been studied. Then some proposals to improve the ITER design and baseline have been presented, and these proposals have been validated and supported by the scientists and experts from two Expert Groups organized by IO.
