Abstract
Reconstructing missing data in very high resolution (VHR) multispectral images represents a complex image processing challenge. In this paper, we face this problem through a novel solution based on inpainting. Inpainting is a technique to reconstruct missing regions in a given image by propagating the spectro-geometrical information retrieved from the remaining parts of the image. Our proposed solution relies on the idea to formulate the inpainting process under a multiresolution processing scheme. Experiments conducted on a VHR image are reported and discussed.
