  • Abstract
    Two types of galloping are simulated in this paper using finite element theory. The maximum displacements of both types of galloping are calculated with results corresponding to recorded events on a real power system. To prevent galloping, a practical measure has been implemented in a network, which proves to be effective for both types of galloping
