Abstract :
In this paper, an effective procedure to determine the radiation patterns of thin spherical-circular meridian arrays was presented. Computation using a CAD software implemented in Mathematical proved accurate and numerically efficient when compared to other methods. These advantageous aspects support the use of the CAD for quick and precise prototyping, hence saving valuable computational time during further optimization with high-performance software such as HFSS. In addition, the CAD requires no powerful computers to run, making it particularly suitable for educational purposes.
