Abstract :
The Jacobi iterative method is a simple mathematical tool of great effectiveness to solve lineal equation systems such as those used in electric network models. In this paper it is proposed that the application of this method for the solution of load flow equations, using an appropriate technique of decomposition of the electric network in partial nets (diakoptics), which leads to an outline of the solution using parallel processing. The obtained results show that the calculation speed is promissory to solve large-scale electric power systems
