Abstract :
In this paper, a new technique is developed to find the Angle Of Arrival (AOA) based on processing of two received signals; one of them is received by an antenna array and the other is received from a single element which is identical to the array elements. The proposed technique to estimate the AOA improves the resolution significantly without requiring high Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR). Moreover, as the AOA can be estimated without spatial sampling, the hardware requirements are less compared to the other methods. The proposed technique is simulated using Simulink software.
