Abstract :
This paper presents the development of a circular polarization feed with an OMT working in two frequency bands with polarization redundancy (RHCP & LHCP). The operation is done in the typical communication transmit and receive C-band frequencies. The challenge in the design consisted is to obtain a mechanically compact design with low mass while compliant with the specified electrical performances since this device was developed for satellite application.
