Abstract :
The purpose of this paper is to draw the attention of the Collaborative Technology and Systems and the Anthropology/Social Science communities to a System of Logic-as-Identified-and-Defined by Charles Sanders Peirce (1839 - 1914). The enormous wide-ranging span of Peirce ´s encyclopedic studies in logic, reasoning, and critical thinking (right thinking) was approached from the high level systems view. This approach was taken so that the least known and least publicized but more important aspects of Peirce scholarship were exposed and clarified. Examples include the triadic sign, abduction, and definitions. The debilitating effect of applying obsolete knowledge to the interpretation of Peirce´s works is also made known.
