Abstract :
We demonstrated for the first time the frequency tuning of microstrip antennas printed on ultra flexible PDMS membranes using pneumatic actuation. The antenna tunability reaches 8.2%, which is a very promising result at millimeter-waves. Future works include implementation of an integrated peristaltic pump actuation and structural control elements on the antenna.
