Abstract :
Foundation pit engineering is composed of some inter-related and relatively independent sub-engineering which makes it possible to introduce the distributed parallel optimal method into foundation pit engineering design. Based on the genetic algorithm with intrinsic parallelism, a distributed three-level co-evolution model and its corresponding algorithm, which can realize collaborative optimal design among scheme, detail and sub-detail of foundation pit engineering, has been designed by this paper. What\´s more, the corresponding software named "the Distributed Optimum Design System for Foundation Pit Engineering based on Genetic Algorithm" has been developed and it not only makes it more efficient to optimize the foundation pit engineering, but also provides convenience for the designer.
