Abstract
The synthesis of matched transducers connecting two regular waveguides are considered. The effective boundary conditions for limiting the area in which one finds the solution are deduced. The method for solving the inverse problem is described. Examples of such systems design are given. It is emphasized that the combination of the finite difference method with the Tikhonov regularization algorithm allows solving the synthesis problems in an ill-posed mathematical setting
