Abstract :
In devastating situations many people are affected and medical attention is required to multitude of persons at the same time. Several patients are transferred to hospitals through ambulances. Through MEDTOC system, the patient information can reach the hospitals before their arrival. Thus the doctors can advise the paramedics in the ambulance to stabilize the patients´ conditions. The patient information may include ambulance number in which the patients are being carried, their identification and vital signs obtained from medical sensors inside the ambulances. In this paper, we discuss the simulation of MEDTOC over a MPI based Linux cluster and initial design of the central web portal.
