Abstract :
MPEG-4 and H.26L have reached or neared ´international standard´ status and applications are being developed based on these standards. The new H.26L standard has been proven to be an attractive choice for videostreaming over MPEG-4. However, just as in single layer MPEG-4, it lacks adaptability to bandwidth variations. This paper examines FGS-like systems for H.26L.
