Abstract :
By decoupling the basic load flow equations, explicit formulations for power system multiple load flow solutions are developed in this paper. Two iterative algorithms, Gauss-Seidel and Newton-Raphson, for the new formulations are constructed. Application of using the method in several power systems shows the effectiveness of the proposed method. The most important advantages of the proposed method are that it is very effective in calculating the multiple load flow solutions and that it is very robust to the initial values
