Abstract :
This paper proposes a hardware-efficient equalizer initialization algorithm. The algorithm can be relevant for a variety of transmission systems, particularly those based on orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) - such as DVB-T, DSL, IEE 802.11a. The algorithm is analyzed in application to IEEE 802.11a/HIPERLAN/2 standards.
