Abstract :
The model for the formation of specialists´ intellectual competence is presented in this paper. The peculiarity of this model is that it was based on psychological mechanisms of the development of intelligence. The approaches to the educational technologies´ design that ensure effective development of future specialists´ intellectual competencies were grounded. These approaches were introduced in the process of teaching the higher mathematics course for engineers.
