Abstract
Summary form only given. A method of obtaining polyacetylene and polyacetylene blends with low content of defects has been elaborated. It has been shown, that sensitivity of the band gap edge of transpolyacetylens (t-PA) to temperature and hydrostatic pressure depends on the content of defects. The Influence of pressure and temperature on the band gap edge position for standard PA Is on the level of equipment sensitivity. For t-PA with low content of defects the positive pressure coefficient equal to +4.10 /sup -5/ ev.cm 2/kg and negative temperature coefficient equal to -1,7 .10 /sup -3/ eV/K have been measured. These values exceed the well-known values for inorganic materials.
