Abstract
Checkpointing Aided Parallel Execution (CAPE) is a paradigm using checkpointing technique to distribute sequential programs equiped with OpenMP directives in distributed systems. This paper presents the CAPE paradigm and highlights the benefits in terms of energy consumption for the processing of the Big Data.
