Abstract :
When a given arbitrary waveform generator (AWG) has limited bandwidth, the signal generated by that instrument will be severely distorted. In particular, the rise time and settling time of the signal generated by that instrument is inherently slow. This paper describes linear distortion compensation by maximum entropy method to compute a pre-distorted waveform so that the AWG will generate a desired waveform
