  • Abstract
A four-pair architecture of two DC/DC converters with input current balance control strategy in Power over Ethernet (PoE) system is proposed in this paper to get more power from Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE). The four-pair architectures´ steady-state models are built to analyze the imbalance problem that exists in the structure. Two main circuit modules operate in parallel and the input current balance circuit is adopted to ensure the balance of both primary current, which can improve the output level and the current sharing performance. Finally, a 50 W 36-60 V-input 12 V-output prototype is built and tested to verify the effectiveness of the presented converter.
