  • Abstract
    A lightpath provisioning scheme is proposed to guarantee Quality of Transmission (QoT) in transparent optical networks. The scheme novelty consists in utilizing the network kriging framework to estimate lightpath QoT and decrease the number of lightpath establishment attempts before success.
