The on-line collaborative activity for building ontology: The use of output ontology in e-testing

In our previous work we have presented a new model of on-line collaborative activity for building ontology. It enriches the list of activities that can be included in the course curriculum, and also, at the end, produces ontology for the course domain. Here, we will expose a complete system that includes the collaborative building of ontology on the domain, as a part of a special course activity, and additionally, uses the produced ontology document as input into our automated system for production of questions for e-testing. We will present the results on the produced questions with examples gained in the real one-semester experiments conducted at the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering. The great number of produced questions that can be used for further testing of the students, combined with the student gain from the continuous collaborative activity for ontology building present result that can be encouraging for many lecturers to use the proposed activity and the system as a whole.
