Abstract
Nonlinear effects in optical fibers: nonlinearity of refraction index, a phase self-modulation and a phase cross-modulation, a four-waves merging, a stimulated Mandelshtam-Brillouin scattering and a Raman scattering are observed in this paper. The special attention is given to the physical side of the phenomena.
