Abstract :
We investigate the possibility of creating tunable optic filters that use liquid crystals as the operating element. The LC optical filter, a system of polarizer-anisotropic layer-analyzer, is based on the transmission dependence on passing light wavelength. The polarizers are located at an angle of 45° to the axis of the anisotropic layer and can be parallel or crossed.
