Abstract
Summary form only given. The contribution of indirect exchange interaction to the total Hamiltonian of polymer molecule is considered for the case of a long unsaturated polymer chain (spine) and side chains attached to the spine. Because of the distance between side chains is Iarge and so the direct exchange interaction is very small, the essential contribution to the effective Hamiltonian is made by the indirect exchange. Such exchange is carried out by means of the bridges between the neighboring side chain molecules. Each side chain rotation around its internal axis causes a change of the electronic structure in the nearest spine-fragments and as a result the side chain molecules situated in the nearest positions interact due to the bridge electron configuration transformations. Calculated Hamiltonian part is proportional to the squared difference of the neighboring side chains rotation operators.
